Terms of service

This is an agreement between you and Infonex Pty Ltd (ABN registered in Australia), the operator of PageTruth. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and “you” means that organisation.

You sign in with Google. Keep that account secure — anything done through it is treated as done by you. Tell us at admin@infonex.com.au if you believe someone else has access.

You must be at least 16 years old, and you must not use PageTruth if we have previously closed your account.

PageTruth answers questions using only the documents you upload, and shows the page each answer came from so you can check it.

The answers are generated by an AI model and can be wrong. The citation exists precisely because you should verify anything that matters before relying on it. PageTruth is not a substitute for legal, financial, medical or professional advice, and must not be used as the sole basis for a decision with legal or safety consequences.

We may change how the service works. Where a change removes something you were relying on, we will give account holders reasonable notice by email.

You own the documents you upload and everything you write. Uploading grants us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your files, extract and index their text, and send the relevant parts to the AI providers named in our privacy policy so an answer can be produced.

That permission exists for no other purpose. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not license it to anyone.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload material you do not own or have permission to use.

You agree not to:

• upload unlawful material, or anything you have no right to hold;
• use the service to build a competing product, or to train a model;
• attempt to reach another customer’s knowledge base, or to probe, scan or overload the service;
• resell or share your access outside your own organisation;
• automate the service beyond ordinary use, or work around the limits included in your plan.

We may suspend an account that is doing any of these. Where the risk allows it, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

The free tier includes 2 knowledge bases, 20 documents, 10 messages and 2 people, and does not require a card. Paid plans start at $9 a month, with additional knowledge bases, people and document capacity charged as add-ons at the prices shown on the plan page. All prices are in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise, and include GST where it applies.

Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Payment is taken by Stripe. If a payment fails we may suspend paid features until it succeeds.

You can change or cancel your plan at any time from within the app. Changes take effect immediately and are prorated. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period, and your data stays available until the period ends.

We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. If you do not accept a price change, cancel before it takes effect.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where we are permitted to limit our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

We work to keep PageTruth available and quick, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not offer a service level agreement on any plan. Maintenance, provider outages and events outside our control can all interrupt it.

Subject to the section above on your Australian Consumer Law rights, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

• neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue or loss of data;
• our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD $100 if you paid us nothing.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you upload. PageTruth is not a backup service.

You can close your account at any time. When you do, we delete your knowledge bases and their contents as described in the privacy policy.

We may end this agreement by giving you 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you breach these terms in a way that is serious or that you do not fix after we ask. If we end it without cause, we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.

Where you were invited to a knowledge base created by an employer or a client, they control it — the documents in it, who can see it, and whether your access continues. These terms still govern your own use, but decisions about that knowledge base are theirs.

We will update the date at the top when these terms change. For a material change we will email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use PageTruth after that means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.

If something here is unenforceable it is severed and the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it.
