Test changes in the playground
The Playground answers from the same knowledge and settings as your help center and widget, privately.
Three steps
Open the playground
Choose Playground in the sidebar.
Ask, change, ask again
Ask a question, then make your change: publish an article, refresh a page or adjust the Assistant settings. Ask again, or choose Try again on the last answer, to compare.
Use your history
Your past playground conversations are listed beside the chat (under History on a phone). They're private to you: teammates see their own.
You're done when
The answer reflects your change.
If something's not right
My change doesn't show yet
New and refreshed sources take a moment to process. Wait until they show Ready or Indexed on Knowledge.
Can team members without admin rights use it?
Yes. Members can use the playground; admins and owners can also change the knowledge and settings. See Roles and permissions.
